You know that sound?
You are scrolling through TikTok or Instagram. You see a
custom keyboard video. The person types, and it sounds like… raindrops. Or
marbles colliding. Or just pure, buttery perfection.
They call it the "Creamy" sound.
Usually, to get that sound, you need to spend hundreds of
dollars. You need to buy expensive switches. You need to lube them by hand for
five hours. It is a hobby for rich people, right?
That is what I thought. Until I found the AULA S75 PRO.
This keyboard claims to have everything: a screen, a knob,
gasket mount structure, and pre-lubed switches. And it promises that viral
"creamy" sound straight out of the box.
Is it too good to be true? I bought one to find out.
Here is my honest review after two weeks of gaming and
typing.
Unboxing: It Looks Expensive
First impressions matter. When I took this out of the box, I
was surprised. It is heavy.
Cheap keyboards feel hollow and plastic. This one feels
solid. The keycaps are made of PBT (a high-quality plastic). They feel
slightly textured and dry, not oily like cheap ABS plastic.
The colors are beautiful. But the first thing you notice is
the Knob and the tiny LCD Screen in the corner. These features
are usually only on premium boards. Seeing them here felt like a steal.
The Sound Test (Does it Thock?)
The "Creamy" Experience
Let’s talk about the main selling point. The sound.
I didn't do any mods. I didn't open it up. I just plugged it
in and started typing.
It sounds incredible.
The switches are "Pre-lubed." This means the
factory added lubricant to the switches so they slide smoothly. There is no
scratching noise. There is no metallic "ping" sound.
When you press a key, it makes a deep, muted thud. It
really does sound creamy. If you work in an office, your coworkers won't hate
you. It isn't loud; it is just satisfying.
Features That Actually Matter
1. The Screen and Knob
Is the screen just a gimmick? A little bit. But it is cool.
- The
Knob: I use this every day. You turn it to change volume. You press it
to mute. It feels tactile and clicky.
- The
Screen: It shows your battery percentage, connection mode
(Bluetooth/2.4G/Wired), and the time. You can even upload small GIFs to it
using the software. It adds a nice personal touch.
2. Tri-Mode Connectivity
You can connect this keyboard in three ways:
- USB-C
Cable: For charging or competitive gaming.
- Bluetooth:
For your iPad or work laptop.
- 2.4G
Dongle: For wireless gaming with zero lag.
I switch between my gaming PC and my MacBook constantly. The
switch on the back makes it super easy.
This means you can pull out the switches and put in new
ones. You don't need to solder anything. It is like Lego. If one key breaks, or
if you want to try different switches later, you can just swap them out.
Gaming Performance
I played Valorant and Cyberpunk 2077 with this
board.
The latency (lag) on the 2.4G wireless mode is non-existent.
It feels just as fast as a wired keyboard. The keys are responsive.
Because it is a 75% layout, it is smaller than a full-size
keyboard. You still have your Arrow Keys and F-row (F1-F12), but you lose the
Number Pad.
For gamers, this is perfect. It gives you more room on your
desk to move your mouse.
Pros and Cons
Pros:
- Sound:
Best sounding budget keyboard I have ever tried.
- Feel:
The Gasket Mount makes typing feel soft and bouncy.
- Aesthetics:
The RGB is bright, and the screen is unique.
- Value:
You get features usually found in $200 keyboards.
Cons:
- Software:
To change the GIF on the screen, you need to download the AULA software.
It is a bit clunky and hard to understand at first.
- Height:
The keyboard is a bit tall. You might want a wrist rest for long sessions.

Conclusion: Is it Worth the Hype?
If you are new to mechanical keyboards, or if you just want
something that sounds amazing without doing any work, the AULA S75 PRO
is a no-brainer.
It looks cool. It feels premium. But most importantly, it
makes typing fun.
I used to hate writing emails. Now, I look for excuses to
type just to hear that creamy thock sound.
